CBL is committed to providing a healthy and safe environment for faculty, staff, students, visitors, and volunteers in all CBL buildings and laboratories. This commitment includes:
• Observing and following health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations (MOSH, OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI, NRC, MDE, AND DOT);
• Participating in mandatory health and safety training;
• Promptly reporting all safety and health hazards or violations and on-site incidents, injuries, and environmental illnesses; and
• Giving due consideration to personal safety and the safety of others while performing assigned tasks and research.
Each of us should consider safety and environmental stewardship a personal responsibility and take appropriate measures to protect people and the environment.
